Audio Morphing: Comparison with trivial text-prompt editing
On this page, we compare generating morphs using our method to morphs generated by making trivial edits to text prompts such as
"A morph between <sound A> and <sound B>".
On the left side of each example, we have the morph generated by MorphFader.
In the subsequent columns, we generated some more samples making trivial edits to prompts using using a combination of word descriptors
from the source and the target prompts.
We find that the sound generated by making trivial edits to the text in the prompt often do not clearly represent a morph.
Furthermore, although there are some interesting timbres arising out of such trivial edits, it is difficult to granularly control the sound generated by
making such edits to the text than when using MorphFader.
Example 1
Source Prompt: A baby sadly crying Target Prompt: A trumpet happily playing
The sample generated by MorphFader is using α = 0.5. For other values of α please visit our morphing page here.

Example 2
Source Prompt: A dog howling Target Prompt: A gong ringing
The sample generated by MorphFader is using α = 0.5. For other values of α please visit our morphing page here.

Example 3
